Wild Wild Wax History

Welcome to Wild Wild Wax, St. Louis’ home for all things vinyl! Owned and operated by Sab Teeple and a passionate team of fellow music enthusiasts, Wild Wild Wax is a record store with a western twist. Nestled in the heart of Missouri, our small but mighty storefront is a hidden gem for collectors, music lovers, and vinyl enthusiasts alike.

Sab Teeple, a dedicated record collector for over ten years, founded Wild Wild Wax in 2019. The vision was to create a space where the spirit of music and nostalgia could come together, providing a one-stop shop for rare finds, high-quality records, and essential supplies for maintaining your vinyl collection. With a deep love for music and the unique sound of vinyl, Sab and the team have worked tirelessly to build a store that reflects their passion for all things analog.

Though we have a modest physical storefront, the bulk of our business takes place online, where we offer a wide range of vinyl records across all genres, as well as exclusive merchandise and high-quality supplies for vinyl care and storage. From cleaning kits and protective sleeves to turntables and more, we have everything you need to keep your collection spinning smoothly.

At Wild Wild Wax, we pride ourselves on delivering a curated selection of records and products that speak to both seasoned collectors and newcomers alike. Whether you’re looking for a rare find, your next favorite album, or the perfect gift for a music lover, we’ve got you covered.

Looking toward the future, we’re excited to announce plans to expand into a full-sized store in the summer of 2027. With bigger space and more inventory, we aim to continue our mission of providing a haven for vinyl lovers in St. Louis and beyond.

We invite you to stop by, browse our selection, or visit us online to explore the world of vinyl with us. At Wild Wild Wax, every record tells a story—come find yours.
